Celeste Exposed
Review by Kim Cantrell
Steve Beard was a well-respected, very friendly man.
And he was wealthy.
Which didn’t go unnoticed by Celeste. Before long, she’d wound Steve into her web of deceit and love of extravagance.
Steve loved Celeste and was very forgiving of her “faults.” Faults including being part of an adulterous homosexual relationship with Tracy Tarlton.
But more so, he loved her daughters and sympathized with them for the mother to which they were born. And for them, Steve tried to make the marriage work.
Yet when the lesbian lover affair continued to be flaunted and Celeste grandiose life style grew out of hand, Steve had had enough.
Unfortunately, he never have the chance to do anything about it.
Award winning true crime author Kathryn Casey divulges the dirty little secrets of Celeste Beard in her 2005 book She Wanted It All.
Readers are given the opportunity to really see into the soul (or empty pit that should contain a soul) of Celeste Johnson Beard.
From birth to prison, readers learn so much about this greedy adulterating wife and mother that it’ll make them appreciate their own mother so much more! (Assuming, of course, they weren’t stuck with a whack job like this one.)
Steve Beard isn’t the only victim in this book and Casey does an excellent job of making that clear. Celeste may have killed Steve Beard, but she also victimized his children, her own two daughters and just about every one who crossed her path.
While there are several books written about this femme fatale, She Wanted It All is the book to read. Don’t even bother with the rest!
