Abandoned Prayers by Gregg Olsen
The story of little Danny Stuztman, known to many as “Little Boy Blue of Chester, Nebraska,” who was murdered by his father Eli Stutzman is an excellent story; however, as a mother, it was difficult to comprehend how someone can murder their own child.
Gregg Olsen does an excellent job of producing the story in easy to read, attention catching detail that never gets tedious and, in spite of the case, is hard to put down.
Unlike other true crimes, readers are not subject to tedious text replays from trial transcripts, but everything is laid out in story form.
I highly recommend Abandoned Prayers to true crime fans…just keep the kleenex handy!
