Blind Faith by Joe McGinniss
I awarded this book three stars only because, contrary to standard true crime, Blind Faith offered no photos of the victim, the accused, etc.
The lack of these made it a bit more difficult, when reading, to visualize the victim and those who plotted and killed her.
Aside from that flaw, I found the writing to be excellent.
The content was well organized and was seldom redundant.
Blind Faith is an interesting case of a wealthy couple, living in suburban America, where everything seems to be just perfect; yet one spouse is unhappy and, in his mind, the only out is not divorce but murder.
Just as readers typically find out that the marriage wasn’t so perfect, you also find out they weren’t as wealthy as those around them believed either.
And not to mention the extramarital affair. Two main motives for murder: greed and lust.
Definitely to be put on a reading list. Just be sure to take the time to Google the case before reading so that you will have a clear picture of all the characters.
