For Book Reviews
- Send review in Word document format to Kim Cantrell, with “Book Review” in the subject line.
- Reviews are not restricted to any length, but 300-700 words is recommended.
- If accepted, submitter will be notified of publication date via email.
To Have Your Book Reviewed
- Only requests for true crime and mystery thriller fiction is accepted. While we enjoy stories originating worldwide, we do request that books be written in English.
- Email a synopsis of the book to be reviewed to Kim Cantrell, with “Book Review Request” in the subject line.
- If accepted, requester will be provided with a mailing address to send an advanced reader or finished copy, as well as any other additional materials to be used for review purposes. Unfortunately, we do not accept eReader (i.e., Kindle, Nook) books at this time. However, if you have a written manuscript for books sold only in eReader format, this is acceptable.
- An advance reading of the review will be provided to submitter. While the reviewer’s opinion of the book cannot be changed, request for corrections to links, references or other non-opinion portions are accepted.
- An expected publication date will be provided to submitter. Once the review is live, a permalink will be forwarded to the submitter.
Submission of Press Releases:
- Only press releases relating to true crime are accepted at this time.
- Please forward your press release via email to Kim Cantrell, with “Press Release” in the subject line.
- If accepted, submitter will be provided with an anticipated publication date.
